Why you might need to resubmit your details and common errors people make while completing registration

So you’ve been asked to resubmit your details so that you can get your SadaPay account. Happens to the best of us. Don’t worry though, resubmission generally does the trick and you'll have your account in no time. Here’s a quick guide on some of the reasons you might need to resubmit your details:

šŸ”¹ Blurry CNIC picture

This happens when the front, back or both sides of your CNIC are unclear or blurry in your photos. When you’re taking your CNIC pictures, just make sure that the information on each photo is legible and clear. It helps if you take these photos in a well-lit area!

šŸ”¹ Submitting incorrect CNIC photos

We can’t believe we have to say this but, if we’re asking you to submit your CNIC front photo, don’t send the back one. 🤦 We all get a little disoriented at times so do double-check what’s being asked and what’s being submitted before sending it in. šŸ˜‚

šŸ”¹ Incorrect date of issue

Manually typing out numbers is tough. 😪 Sometimes you might end up getting a number wrong, making your CNIC issuance date different from the one on your actual card. We know it’s tedious, but quickly checking that your submitted issuance date is matching the one on your CNIC will be super helpful!

A couple of things to remember here: the date format on your CNIC and on our app are different (ours is MM/DD/YYYY) so be sure to type out dates in our format. Also, since your CNIC has a few different dates on it, make sure you’re looking at the right one (you want to type out ā€œDate of Issueā€, not ā€œDate of Birthā€ or ā€œDate of Expiryā€)

šŸ”¹ Incorrect CNIC number

Same goes for your CNIC number. It needs to match the one on your card. We find saying the numbers out loud when you’re typing it out helps. 🤷

šŸ”¹ Mothers name is unmatched/incorrect

This one is pretty simple; your mother's name needs to match the one on her CNIC. We know it can be a little confusing if she’s still using her maiden name, so you may want to double-check with her. And when we say ā€˜Mothers Name’, we don’t mean Fathers Name or random-fun-name-you’re-making-up-for-no-reason. If you want your account, you’re going to need to be accurate here. šŸ™„

šŸ”¹ Your CNIC is expired/inactive

Needless to say, you’re going to need a CNIC that hasn't expired to get your account approved. That’s not all though; besides it being expired, it could also be ā€œinactiveā€. You can tell that your CNIC is inactive if you’ve applied for renewal or if you’ve already received another CNIC.

šŸ”¹ You sent us a ā€œdigital photoā€ of your CNIC

This means you tried to take a picture of a picture of your CNIC….not cool. We may be fun but we’re not foolish, we’ll see right through that. So please take a photo of the actual CNIC card in your card (also known as a ā€œliveā€ photo)

šŸ”¹ Unclear selfie

Would you ever allow your insta story selfie to be blurry? Of course you wouldn’t! We’re going to need the same standards here. Make sure that selfie is as clear as day. ā˜€ļø

šŸ”¹ Your selfie isn’t matching your CNIC photo

Speaking of photo standards, we can all admit that our passport photos are far from gram-worthy. Since we’re going to need your selfie and CNIC to match, we’ll need you to make sure that you’re not doing anything that can cause them to be different (like taking off your glasses, removing headwear and closing your eyes)

šŸ”¹ Irrelevant documents

If you provided us with additional information aside from CNIC details, then that’ll probably result in you needing to resubmit. We appreciate the gesture, but it’s kind of giving a ā€œstudent reminding the teacher to assign homeworkā€ vibe. Just provide us with the details that are being asked for, nothing more, nothing less.
