1. These terms are legally binding
1.1 Sadapay (Private) Limited (“SadaPay”, “us”, “we”, “our”) is running the Messi Campaign (the “Campaign”) in collaboration with Mastercard. These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the Campaign and form a legally binding agreement between you and us. Please take the time to read them carefully.
1.2 You will take part in the Campaign automatically when you make a Qualifying Transaction during the Campaign Period, and by taking part you agree to these Terms. If you are selected as a winner and do not wish to take part, you can decline your Prize when we contact you, and we will select another winner from the same draw.
1.3 You should read these Terms along with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In case of any conflict, these Terms will prevail to the extent of such conflict in relation to the Campaign.
2. Some words we use
2.1 In these Terms:
“Campaign Period” means the period from 12:00 AM PKT on 1 November 2026 to 11:59 PM PKT on 20 December 2026.
“Fan Box” means a surprise box of official Lionel Messi merchandise and collectibles.
“Grand Prize Draw” has the meaning given in clause 4.4.
“Messi Card” means the Messi-branded virtual Mastercard described in clause 4.2.
“PKT” means Pakistan Standard Time.
“Prize” means a Signed Jersey or a Fan Box.
“Qualifying Transaction” has the meaning given in clause 5.1.
“SadaPay Card” means a physical or virtual Mastercard debit card we have issued to you, including the Messi Card.
“Signed Jersey” means an official Lionel Messi collectible jersey signed by Lionel Messi.
“Week” means each of the six (6) periods running from 12:00 AM PKT on a Monday to 11:59 PM PKT on the following Sunday, the first beginning on Monday, 2 November 2026 and the last ending on Sunday, 13 December 2026.
“Weekly Draw” has the meaning given in clause 4.3.
3. Who can take part
3.1 You can take part in the Campaign if you:
are at least eighteen (18) years of age;
are a resident of Pakistan; and
hold an active SadaPay account that is fully verified (KYC approved) and in good standing. Business accounts are not eligible.
3.2 You can take part even if you open your SadaPay account during the Campaign Period.
3.3 You must continue to meet the requirements in clause 3.1 when each draw takes place and until you receive your Prize. If your SadaPay account is blocked, suspended or under investigation for fraud at any time during the Campaign, you will be disqualified.
3.4 The following people cannot take part in the Campaign or win a Prize:
directors, officers, employees, agents and consultants of SadaPay;
directors, officers and employees of Mastercard, and of any agency engaged by Mastercard or by us in connection with the Campaign; and
the immediate family members of any of the people in paragraphs (a) and (b), meaning their spouses, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren and siblings, and the spouses of any of them.
4. How the Campaign works
4.1 Each Qualifying Transaction you make during the Campaign Period counts towards the rewards described in this clause 4.
4.2 Messi Card. When you make your first Qualifying Transaction during the Campaign Period, we will make the Messi Card available to you in the SadaPay app within the time we show in the app. The Messi Card design is available for a limited time. We may withdraw the Messi Card design, or replace it with our standard card design, when our arrangement with Mastercard relating to the Campaign ends.
4.3 Weekly Draws. If you make at least three (3) Qualifying Transactions in a Week, you will qualify for that Week’s prize draw (a “Weekly Draw”). Two (2) Signed Jerseys will be awarded in each Weekly Draw.
4.4 Grand Prize Draw. If you make at least twenty (20) Qualifying Transactions during the Campaign Period, you will qualify for the grand prize draw held after the end of the Campaign Period (the “Grand Prize Draw”). Two (2) Fan Boxes will be awarded in the Grand Prize Draw.
4.5 We will hold each Weekly Draw after the end of the relevant Week. The Grand Prize Draw will be held in the week following the end of the Campaign Period. We will announce the date and time of each draw on our official social media channels.
4.6 4.6 Entries. When you qualify for a draw, you will receive one (1) entry into it. You will then receive one (1) additional entry for each further Qualifying Transaction you make in the same Week (for a Weekly Draw) or during the Campaign Period (for the Grand Prize Draw). Each entry has an equal chance of being selected, so the more entries you have, the greater your chance of winning. Your chance of winning depends on the total number of entries in that draw.
4.7 A Qualifying Transaction counts towards both the Weekly Draw for the Week in which it is made and the Grand Prize Draw. Qualifying Transactions do not carry over from one Week to the next for the Weekly draws. Qualifying Transactions made on 1 November 2026, or between 14 and 20 December 2026, count towards the Messi Card and the Grand Prize Draw only.
4.8 You can win only one (1) Signed Jersey during the Campaign. Once you have won a Signed Jersey, you will not be included in later Weekly Draws, but you can still qualify for, and win, a Fan Box in the Grand Prize Draw. Each Fan Box will be awarded to a different winner.
4.9 There is no fee to take part in the Campaign. Our usual charges, as set out in our Schedule of Charges, apply to your transactions.
5. Qualifying Transactions
5.1 A “Qualifying Transaction” is a purchase of PKR 500 or more that you make using your SadaPay Card with a merchant located outside Pakistan, either in store or online, during the Campaign Period, and that is successfully completed and settled.
5.2 The following are not Qualifying Transactions:
ATM withdrawals and other cash withdrawals;
transactions with merchants located in Pakistan, including bill payments and domestic retail purchases;
gambling, betting or lottery transactions;
purchases of cryptocurrency or other virtual assets;
money transfers, remittances and person-to-person payments;
payments to load or top up any account, wallet or prepaid card; and
transactions that fail or are declined, and transactions that are reversed, refunded or disputed.
5.3 If a transaction is reversed, refunded or disputed, we will remove it from your count of Qualifying Transactions.
5.4 We will use the amount, date and time of each transaction as shown in your SadaPay app to work out whether it is a Qualifying Transaction and which Week it falls in. A transaction will count only if it has settled before we hold the relevant draw.
5.5 Our records will be conclusive evidence of the Qualifying Transactions you have made.
6. Prizes
6.1 The Prizes are:
twelve (12) Signed Jerseys, two (2) in each of the six (6) Weekly Draw; and
two (2) Fan Boxes, awarded in the Grand Prize Draw.
6.2 Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. You cannot sell, exchange or swap a Prize, transfer it to anyone else, or redeem it for cash.
6.3 We will contact winners to arrange delivery of their Prize. We can deliver the Prize only to an address in Pakistan. Delivery may take up to twelve (12) weeks from the date we announce the winner.
6.4 Prizes are provided “as is”. Signed items may have minor cosmetic imperfections or variations, including changes resulting from shipping, handling or framing, or from the natural characteristics of signed merchandise. These do not make a Prize defective.
6.5 Prizes will be delivered with authentication documentation, which is proof of their authenticity.
6.6 Our responsibility, and Mastercard’s, in relation to a Prize is limited to delivering the authentic item and its authentication documentation.
6.7 Where necessary, we may, as Mastercard determines, provide appropriate remediation, replacement or substitute fulfillment in respect of a Prize. These Terms apply to any replacement or substitute as if it were the original Prize.
7. Winners, live streams and publicity
7.1 Winners will be selected at random from everyone who qualifies for the relevant draw, and announced during live streams on our official Instagram, YouTube or TikTok channels.
7.2 If you are selected as a winner, we will call you on the mobile number registered to your SadaPay account, by audio or video call, during the live stream. By taking part in the Campaign, you agree to receive this call. If you do not answer after two (2) attempts, you will lose your Prize and we will select another winner from the same draw.
7.3 If you win, you agree that we may record your reaction and use it, together with your name and likeness, on our official social media channels, in our promotional materials and on the “Hall of Fame” on our website.
8. Fair play
8.1 We may disqualify you from the Campaign, and withhold or refuse to award a Prize, if we reasonably believe that you have:
breached these Terms;
tried to manipulate your Qualifying Transactions or the Campaign mechanics, including by using automated bots; or
engaged in fraudulent or unfair conduct in connection with the Campaign.
8.2 We monitor transaction patterns and velocity to make sure that the Campaign is run fairly.
9. Your information
9.1 We will use your personal information, including your name, contact details and transaction history, to run the Campaign, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9.2 If you win, you agree that we may share your name, contact details and any other information needed to deliver your Prize with Mastercard and its prize fulfilment agency, for that purpose.
10. Our liability
10.1 We, Mastercard, Lionel Messi and his management, and our and their respective affiliates and agencies, are not liable to you for any loss or damage you suffer in connection with the Campaign, the live streams, or the receipt, ownership or use of a Prize.
10.2 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
10.3 We hold the benefit of clauses 6.4 to 6.7 and this clause 10 for ourselves and on trust for Mastercard, Lionel Messi and his management, and our and their respective affiliates and agencies.
11. Changes to the Campaign
11.1 We may change the Campaign mechanics or these Terms, or suspend, cancel or end the Campaign early, if fraud, a technical failure or any other factor beyond our reasonable control affects the integrity or proper running of the Campaign. We may do so without prior notice, but we will tell you as soon as we can through the SadaPay app or on our website.
11.2 We will try to make sure that any change does not unfairly affect Qualifying Transactions you have already made.
12. Governing law
12.1 These Terms and any dispute in relation to the Campaign are governed by the laws of Pakistan and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan.
